They are developing a new generation of purpose-built electric vehicles with an emphasis on simplicity, modular design, and customer customisation.They are looking for a Track Control Steward to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be located in California City, CA, USA. Job Description: The PG Track Operations Steward (Dispatcher) will manage multiple programs simultaneously, demonstrating flexibility, strong prioritization abilities, strong written and verbal communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills.The candidate will be comfortable working with multiple levels of personnel, from engineers to corporate executives.Be an excellent problem-solver, detail-oriented, and exhibits a drive for continuous improvement, focused on people and working with internal "customers" and external "vendors". Operations Administrator responsibilities Operate track control radios to ensure proper use of test tracksSchedule special training needs and dispatch support as requiredMonitor and communicate test track conditions and closuresOperate control gates to allow access to test tracksKeep current logs of track activityActively observe track conditions and traffic via radio and on track patrolUpdate daily and weekly reports to management from logsSupport safety and security operations as needed such as checking in visitors and contacting visitors' sponsorLead training activities for visitors and new employees including track familiarizationSupport driver training programs by setting up driving courses and working with driving instructorsAll other tasks as needed to support Proving Ground Operations Educational Requirements High School Diploma2 years administrative work and/or negotiating with outside suppliersDispatcher experience preferred Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong organization and communication skillsHold a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record Why work through Contechs?
