This is a hybrid role based in Woburn, MA. U.S. citizenship is required due to program/contract access restrictions.
About the Role
The Raytheon Functional Finance team is seeking a Program Cost Control Engineering Business Analyst. The successful candidate will support Engineering Product Team Leads, Control Account Managers, and Program leads in monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting, analysis, Budget Change Requests (BCRs), EAC and LRE inputs, and drive predictable results through meaningful analysis and effective communication.
Key responsibilities include partnering with engineering and program leads for EVMS process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost and labor runs. The role focuses on cost control and schedule management using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX tools.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) quarterly and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) monthly, including cost estimates, reasonableness analysis, and risk/opportunity assessments at the Program/Product/Mission area level.
- Perform detailed Earned Value (EV) and financial analysis relative to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
- Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
- Drive cost control and schedule adherence using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting tools.
- Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure predictable cost and schedule outcomes.
- Operate both independently and collaboratively to support Functional organizations and meet program financial commitments.
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), or other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals.
- Knowledge of leading and managing processes, projects, and tactics within a work area.
- Technical or professional discipline expertise with an understanding of its impact on other organizational areas.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range reflects all experience levels. RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.

Schedule
This is a hybrid role. Employees will work both onsite and offsite, with the ratio of onsite time determined in partnership with their leader. Commuting to the assigned site is the employee’s responsibility.
