About the role

This position supports the Functional Finance team as a Program Cost Control Engineering Business Analyst, ensuring predictable cost and schedule performance through Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, financial analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), including cost estimation, reasonableness analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment at the Program/Product/Mission area level.
  • Perform detailed EVM and financial analysis against budget baselines, schedules, and EAC positions.
  • Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
  • Partner with engineering and program leads for EVM process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly cost/labor analysis.
  • Drive cost control and schedule adherence using tools such as APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting.
  • Conduct analyses and prepare reports to support predictable financial outcomes.
  • Operate both independently and collaboratively to meet program financial commitments.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), or other government procurement regulations related to bid/cost proposals.
  • Knowledge of leading processes, projects, or tactics within a work area, with an understanding of cross-organizational impacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The final offer considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
