  • Salary: $140,000.00 - $192,500.00
  • Location: Portland, OR
  • Full-time, regular position with travel up to 50% of the time
  • Relocation eligible

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership of new product introductions and early learning shipments, resolution of critical long-term customer issues with upper management, and identifying special projects for successful implementation and completion.
  • May support multiple products across multiple regions/customers as required.
  • Responsible for product hardware performance at a strategic customer or region.
  • Manages hardware and software technical customer escalations.
  • Drives failure analysis to identify long-term technical issues, plans for resolution, and develops designs to correct issues.
  • Provides Alpha Site leadership (NPI, JDA, Eval) related to installation, operation, calibration, service, and/or testing of new hardware, process, or software designs.
  • Drives multi-function taskforces to address customers' complex design-related issues, including process and hardware redesign efforts.
  • Drives program management from concept through customer acceptance and formal release.
  • Generates and presents system performance data, including metrics such as MTBF, MTBI, and availability, as well as process data and I/W spending analysis.
  • Provides Beta Site support related to installation, operation, calibration, service, and/or testing of new hardware, software, or processes on customer tools.
  • Initiates and reviews ECOs to ensure data supports fixes and communicates updates to the field.
  • Engages in technical dialogue with customers for escalations or hardware/software availability requests.
  • Supports GPS in generating documentation such as CENs and BKMs.
  • Creates and reviews documentation covering technical improvements, system upgrades, and support plans.
  • Presents at the customer level and ensures field implementation.
  • Organizes and manages on-site training for early learning shipments and new product introductions.
  • Enhances local team product technical knowledge through frequent knowledge transfer and proactive training.
