TPM - (DOR) Rehab Director

About the role

We are seeking a Full-time, Therapy Program Manager (TPM) at our Southfield, MI location. The ideal candidate must hold an active state license as a Physical or Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with a minimum of 1-2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of therapy programs
• Develop and implement program goals and objectives
• Manage staff and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes
• Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Assist in recruitment and hiring processes
• Prepare reports and documentation as required

Requirements

• Active state license as a Physical or Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of management experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy principles and practices
• Experience with program development and management

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or related field
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Passion for rehabilitation and patient care
