About the role
We are seeking a Full-time, Therapy Program Manager (TPM) at our Southfield, MI location. The ideal candidate must hold an active state license as a Physical or Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with a minimum of 1-2 years of management experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of therapy programs
- Develop and implement program goals and objectives
- Manage staff and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes
- Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Assist in recruitment and hiring processes
- Prepare reports and documentation as required
Requirements
- Active state license as a Physical or Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of management experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy principles and practices
- Experience with program development and management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or related field
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Passion for rehabilitation and patient care
