TPA Service Specialist TravelGuard
About the role
Zurich North America Claims offers a flexible hybrid work model designed to accommodate employees' needs. The role involves collaborating with Zurich CoverMore (Travel Guard/Travelex) partners to oversee TPA claim adjudication on travel policies, assisting with in-flight medical cases, auditing TPA claim handling, and managing Third Party Administrators (TPA).
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Zurich CoverMore partners to manage service issues between customers, brokers, business units, and support service areas.
- Drives due diligence, technical guidance, and contract development for new TPA's.
- Ensures alignment of Business Unit TPA policies and practices with Global Claims Policy and tracks audit improvement actions.
- Manages TPA performance issues and drives continuous improvement in customer experience and cost savings.
- Partners with Business Units to provide corporate governance, assistance, and control over regulatory matters.
- Supports Business Unit Claims operations to ensure compliance with TPA policies and processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the Operations area within the Insurance industry, or a High School Diploma and 7+ years of experience, along with experience in insurance industry operations and systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in Operations within the Insurance industry
- 7+ years of experience in Operations within the Insurance industry
- Experience in insurance industry operations and systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Skills
Basic skills include managing resolution of service issues, driving due diligence, and ensuring alignment with global policies. Preferred skills include travel claims experience and strong communication abilities.

Pay
The proposed salary range for this position is $59,900.00 - 98,200.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. Zurich offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

The role is offered on a full-time, hybrid schedule.
