About the Role

Stokes Toyota of Hilton Head is looking for a Toyota Master Technician or MDT to join our team. We're a family-owned coastal dealership with a new, state-of-the-art facility and climate-controlled bays. Our team currently includes 5 Master/MDT techs, 4 experts, and a crew of certified techs who are motivated to be the best in the Lowcountry. We're growing fast and want someone who levels up with us.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements

• High School diploma / GED
• Toyota Master / MDT credentials
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Math, reading, and computer skills
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
