About the role
The Town of Randolph, Vermont (pop. 4,800) is recruiting for an experienced public sector manager to serve as its next Town Manager.
Randolph is a vibrant, tight-knit community located in the hills of Central Vermont. Oriented around an active, outdoor lifestyle, Randolph has a strong sense of place and a large dose of civic pride.
Vermont State University in Randolph and Gifford Medical Center provide diverse employment opportunities. Chandler Center for the Arts serves up national performers and community theater for the region. Randolph has it all for a weekend or a lifetime.
Responsibilities
Randolph is at an inflection point and seeks a Town Manager who can provide strong, steady leadership to define and address community priorities.
- Grow the tax base
- Increase housing opportunities
- Deliver public safety services at a reasonable cost
Requirements
The hiring committee envisions a capable leader with a collaborative, engaging style; deep knowledge of local government; and the ability to inspire and maintain public confidence for Town initiatives.
