Tow Truck Operator

About the role

Ski Country Auto Repair and Towing is a family-oriented business located near the heart of the Rockies, approximately 70 miles west of Denver on I-70. We are a full-time opportunity seeking a motivated Tow Truck Operator who can provide emergency towing services and mobile repairs, focusing on safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency towing services and mobile repairs, prioritizing safety and professionalism.
• Operate light- and medium-duty tow trucks with care and attention.
• Assist both the general public and commercial fleet clients.
• Maintain service logs and adhere to DOT/state regulations.
• Work closely with dispatch, team members, and customers, emphasizing clear communication.
• Ensure all tools, trucks, and safety gear are in excellent condition.
• Embrace challenges and enjoy the variety of daily tasks in the scenic Rocky Mountains.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (a Commercial Driver’s License is not required, but a plus).
• Willingness to work outdoors and on-call, typically 2–3 nights per week.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is helpful but not mandatory.
• Drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
• A go-getter attitude and commitment to safety, service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

While not strictly necessary, mechanical knowledge is beneficial. However, we will provide comprehensive training for those new to the field.
