Tow Truck Operator

About the role

We are adding Tow Truck Operators to the All City Towing Team who take pride in their contributions to a high performing team. Our operators are kept busy as the towing partner to police and Sheriff with a quick on-scene time response commitment. The role involves running a mix of general towing, flatbed transport, relocations, accident recovery, and more.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed tow truck to load and transport vehicles.
• Respond promptly to dispatch calls for a wide range of assistance that can include: accident recovery, stolen vehicles, parking violations, vehicle relocation and more.
• Ensure proper vehicle hookups and secure loads for safe transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and law enforcement as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous communications to customers in stressful situations.
• Maintain your truck and equipment to a high standard
• May remove, bend, or cut parts of damaged vehicles preparatory to towing.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Adhere to all company safety policies.
• Complete required paperwork, including towing reports and customer receipts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of Towing experience
• CDL a plus
• Good Driving record
• Good attendance record
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, bend & maneuver in tight places.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly plus bonus opportunity, $23 – $26 per hour. Available shifts include: Second Shift – Tuesday – Saturday 12PM – 9PM OR Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 12PM – 10PM, and Third Shift: Mon – Fri 2AM – 11AM.
