Tow Senior Instructor
About the role
This senior-level instructor position conducts Emergency Road Services (ERS) instructional courses for independent contract station (ICS) service providers and their employees and provides direct coaching and mentoring to instructor staff across Auto Club Enterprises (ACE) markets. The training leader demonstrates a strategic approach and proactively and responsively provides training solutions which meets business demands; takes initiative evaluating individual employee performance along with training program effectiveness and providing solutions which support employee, team and organizational success. Implements improvements for a better learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct coaching and mentoring to instructor team members across ACE markets
- Coordinates special assignments and management projects
- Conducts formal classroom training sessions, workshops, and presentations for ICS personnel regarding ERS policies and procedures, and regulations
- Delivers training via in-person classroom, instructor-led virtual, and field training as assigned
- Collaborates with ERS teams to identify specific training and coaching opportunities
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports
- Overnight travel required on a pre-scheduled basis
Requirements
- 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
- Minimum 3-year training/coaching work experience in the automotive service industry preferred
- Professional verbal and written communication skills required, including excellent presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required
Travel
Regular travel across ACE markets in support of ongoing training initiatives (30% proficiency)

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is: $35.94 - $47.87
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
