About the role

Leads groups of 4-30 people on tours (up to 2 miles), visiting up to five partner locations and identifying pre-selected local landmarks along the route.

Responsibilities

• Confirm reservations at partner locations
• Greet and lead tour of 4-30 guests on 3-hour local tours to partnering locations, pre-identified local landmarks, and local businesses
• Engage with and correspond with guests, as needed

Pay

$20/hour + tips

Schedule

Flexible work schedule; primarily 4 hours on various weekends; possibility of additional hours

Qualifications

• Responsible, organized, and punctual
• Identifies as Black or a person of color
• Prior experience organizing and leading excursions
• Possess an outgoing/engaging personality
• Excellent conversational skills with a knack for storytelling
• Is a local or Bay Area native (preferred but not required)
• Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work on weekends
• Must be 21 years of age or older
