Tour Data Quality Analyst
About the role
Project Expedition’s Tour Data Quality Analyst supports a tours-and-activities marketplace connecting travelers, travel advisors, tour operators, excursions, transfers, bookings, content, and partner support. The role focuses on decision-ready analysis, ensuring tour data quality through analytical review to surface incomplete information before it leads to downstream rework.
Responsibilities
- Investigate anomalies in tour data to prevent masking issues, ensuring accurate analytical review within the tours and activities marketplace.
- Document calculations and assumptions to maintain clarity and consistency in the Tour Data Quality Analyst workflow.
- Translate findings into practical next actions for the team, coordinating improvements in data quality processes.
- Validate source data before analysis to ensure reliability and accuracy in tour data quality reviews.
- Build reports around clearly defined metrics to support data-driven decision-making in the marketplace.
Expected Contribution
Strong performance is demonstrated through fewer avoidable corrections, timely follow-through, and records that make the next action obvious. Success is measured by the quality and impact of tour data analytical reviews within the tours and activities marketplace.
Skills & Qualifications
- Confidently apply Quality Control and Source Verification in tour data quality analytical review.
- Provide Travel Advisor Partner Support while managing exceptions, owners, and deadlines tied to data quality.
- Document Metrics Tracking decisions clearly so teammates can follow the reasoning behind data quality reviews.
- Use sound judgment in Exception Analysis, escalating issues when necessary rather than making assumptions.
Pay
Base salary: $55,000–$78,000 per year.
Schedule
Full-time, 100% remote within the United States. Associate-level position.
