Tour Coordinator
About the Role
This Tour Coordinator role operates within cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour planning, focusing on destination, booking, supplier, sales-support, and traveler-service workflows. The position's distinct contribution is tour-focused coordination applied to travel planning and service, ensuring decisions reflect the actual operating environment.
The role requires maintaining clear visibility of confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions while executing tour-focused coordination.
Responsibilities

- Document reservation systems with deadline management, ensuring all actions are traceable and statuses are clearly updated.

Operational Priorities and Standards
Quality Standard: Strong tour-focused coordination ensures travel planning and service remain usable under the specific demands of cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour workflows. Completed work must be traceable, unresolved items must have clear owners, and errors must be identified early to prevent rework.
Working Strengths:
- Confidently use the Travel Experts UK Workflow Context and Travel Planning tools to support tour-focused coordination.
- Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines in the coordination workflow.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions to maintain clarity in reasoning.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, especially when coordination depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
The role-specific handoff test combines quality control, record management, and travel planning. Work is considered complete only when reporting, workflow context, and status tracking make it secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate.
