Total Rewards Manager Americas
Role Summary
We are seeking a Total Rewards Manager to lead total rewards strategies across the Americas. The successful candidate will be a key leader for compensation and benefits initiatives, working within a global matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain compensation structures, including salary ranges and incentive schemes for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with global policies.
Manage job evaluations, ensuring accurate and consistent grading across the region.
Conduct regular compensation market analyses and participate in salary surveys to ensure competitive pay practices.
Oversee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness plans and leave management.
Execute all Open Enrollment activities, including communication strategies, system setup, and maintenance.
Administer and manage self-insured medical plans, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and alignment with business goals.
Manage 401(k) plan administration, including participation in audits, loan status reporting, and error resolution in collaboration with the 401(k) provider.
Ensure the successful administration of these programs in collaboration with the Benefits Administrator that reports to you.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Americas business leaders, providing expert guidance on compensation and benefits matters, while collaborating with global total rewards teams.
Ensure all compensation and benefits programs are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, FMLA, ACA, workers compensation, and other relevant laws.
Leverage compensation and benefits data to provide insightful reports and recommendations to HR leadership and regional business leaders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in compensation and benefits administration and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in coaching and mentoring a high-performing team within the compensation and benefits space, fostering growth, collaboration, and development of expertise.
Progressive experience in compensation and benefits management, with a focus on the Americas region.
Expertise in managing a variety of health plan options, including self-insured medical plans.
Strong understanding of local and federal labor laws impacting compensation and benefits.
Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organization, balancing regional leadership needs with global policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of comfort working with data and financial models.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience managing compensation and benefits in a multinational, matrixed environment.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and tools, such as Workday.
