TOSCA QA MANAGER - AUTOMATION ARCHITECT

About the role

Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States as a QA Manager – Automation Architect at Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This role leads the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide automation frameworks and quality engineering solutions, partnering with QA, Development, DevOps, and business teams to improve software quality, test efficiency, and release reliability across enterprise applications and platforms.

Candidates must relocate to Dallas, Texas, within three weeks of offer acceptance and report to the office four days a week at 7834 CF Hawn Freeway, Dallas, TX 75217. This is a direct hire role; no sponsorship, relocation assistance, or contractor/agency employment is available.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and reusable automation components
• Define automation standards, best practices, and testing strategies across QA teams
• Lead automation initiatives for functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality throughout the SDLC
• Mentor QA automation engineers and provide technical leadership
• Analyze automation metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support enterprise applications, web platforms, APIs, and cloud-based solutions
• Participate in architecture reviews, release planning, and environment strategy discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
• 7+ years of QA and test automation experience
• 3+ years in an automation architecture or technical leadership role
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, or UFT
• Strong programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with Jira or other test and defect management tools
