About the role

The Tortilla Clerk delivers quality customer service in a retail store environment. The individual is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values. The clerk maintains inventory and department cleanliness for the department.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer service
• Maintain product freshness
• Order inventory
• Package tortillas, chips, tostadas, and all other products in the department
• Ensure coolers are cleaned and organized
• Maintain cooler temperature logs
• Maintain cleanliness of tortilla machine

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic kitchen skills; tortilleria department experience a plus
• Valid Food Handlers Card
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Demands

• Walking: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise
• Standing: Continuously, throughout shift
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Hourly wage range: $15.00–$20.10. Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
