About the role
You will have the opportunity to work hands-on MK48 torpedo hardware and Naval Automated Test Equipment systems.
Responsibilities
- Fill a supporting role in the design, development, and testing of Automated Test Equipment software.
- Develop and test software for MK48 torpedo ATE systems using C++, LabVIEW, and Test Stand.
- Reverse-engineer and translate legacy PASCAL software routines into modern languages.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled, self-motivated peers to design state-of-the-art test systems for the Navy.
- Support the design and sustainment of multiple ATE systems as a subject matter expert.
- Overcome technical challenges independently while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another engineering discipline.
- Multiple years of software development experience.
- Experience designing software solutions for automated test equipment (ATE).
- A strong working knowledge of electrical test and measurement concepts.
- Familiarity with National Instruments products such as PXI, LabView, and Test Stand.
- Familiarity with PASCAL programming language.
Qualifications
- US citizen able to obtain SECRET clearance.
