You’ll work closely with senior engineers to execute complex test plans, debug hardware prototypes, and analyze signal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Board Bring-Up & Validation: Assist in the initial power-on and functional verification of new PCB assemblies (PCBAs).
  • Signal Integrity (SI) Testing: Conduct physical layer measurements (jitter, crosstalk, eye diagrams) on high-speed interfaces like PCIe, USB, and DDR.
  • Power Testing: Perform DC-DC converter characterization, including efficiency measurements, load transients, and power sequencing validation.
  • Electrical Characterization: Utilize lab equipment to verify electrical specifications and ensure designs meet internal and industry standards.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Document test results, identify failures, and work with the design team to root-cause hardware bugs.

Requirements

  • Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on Lab Experience: Proficiency with standard test equipment, including:
    • Digital Oscilloscopes (high bandwidth)
    • Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
    • Programmable Power Supplies and Electronic Loads
