You’ll work closely with senior engineers to execute complex test plans, debug hardware prototypes, and analyze signal performance.
Responsibilities
- Board Bring-Up & Validation: Assist in the initial power-on and functional verification of new PCB assemblies (PCBAs).
- Signal Integrity (SI) Testing: Conduct physical layer measurements (jitter, crosstalk, eye diagrams) on high-speed interfaces like PCIe, USB, and DDR.
- Power Testing: Perform DC-DC converter characterization, including efficiency measurements, load transients, and power sequencing validation.
- Electrical Characterization: Utilize lab equipment to verify electrical specifications and ensure designs meet internal and industry standards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Document test results, identify failures, and work with the design team to root-cause hardware bugs.
Requirements
- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on Lab Experience: Proficiency with standard test equipment, including:
- Digital Oscilloscopes (high bandwidth)
- Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
- Programmable Power Supplies and Electronic Loads
- Scripting experience in a terminal environment
