Tool Room Position Summary Responsible for continuous inventory of all tools. Primary Responsibilities Maintain a log or system for tracking the movement and location of tools using the company tooling computer programInspect extension cords and power cords for broken wires, cracked insulation or other damagesTrack tools on a day-to-day basis as they are issuedSubmit monthly purchase requisitions for ordering consumables, safety supplies and tools as neededMonitor shortages or lost tools Skills Ability to multitask and maintain great communication with site managementExhibits organizational skills and ability to keep a neat and clean environment Qualifications Minimum 2-year industrial construction/maintenance industry experience (preferred)Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, WordGeneral understanding of industrial tools and consumables Physical Requirements Selected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.
