About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments and assisting in the pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, following company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and managing inventory.
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts for growth and career development.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support better health outcomes.
Requirements
- Physical requirements: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
- Visual acuity: Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and reading.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age 16 or older.
Skills
Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to lift and move objects, and proficiency with cash handling and credit card transactions are essential.
