About the role
Germantown, WI | Full-Time | Paid Apprenticeship. Entry-level candidates are sought for Tool & Die Maker, Machinist, and Wire EDM Apprenticeship Programs. No prior experience required. We look for dependable individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. If you've enjoyed fixing things, working on vehicles, building projects, or shop classes, you'll fit right in. The position is located in Germantown, WI (about 20 minutes northwest of Milwaukee).
Responsibilities
- Build precision tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges
- Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire EDM equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Inspect parts to extremely tight tolerances
- Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Work alongside experienced toolmakers in a climate-controlled facility
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Interest in machining, tool & die, or manufacturing
- Willingness to learn blueprint reading and precision measurement
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
