Tooling Technician II

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning, maintaining, sorting, and changeover of all molds (can disassemble clean and assemble molds)
• Be able to trouble shoot hot runner systems
• Safely able to move all molds including 4,000 lbs
• Provide safe working environment
• Keep a clean work area
• Work for other departments when needed
• Maintain all equipment in first-class condition
• Help maintain a flow of ideas and a sharing of knowledge to increase the level of expertise in toolroom
• Help maintain cleanliness and order that makes toolroom standout
• Support and adhere to corporate mission, values, and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Can do some milling and replace ejector pins

Organizational Relationships

• Directly reports to the Toolroom Manager
• In addition of supporting each Medbio department as required

Experience and/or Educational Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Strong mechanical ability is required

Physical Requirements

• The ability to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds

Pay

Hourly: $35.00/hour – $38.00/hour
