About the role
VEKA Inc., a proud member of the global VEKA group and the world's largest extruder of vinyl for the window and door industry, is seeking a dedicated Plant Maintenance Mechanic to clean, maintain, and prepare extrusion tooling to the required standard for production.
Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures
- Disassemble extrusion tooling and ensure proper assembly
- Perform maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed
- Disassemble purged-in dies
- Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed
- Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate Reach truck as needed
- Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- GED or High School Education (Trade school preferred)
- Previous experience in a related field

Schedule
This is a 12-hour shift position.
