Tooling CNC Machninist
Tooling CNC Machinist Role
Responsibilities:
- Toolpathing 3 and/or 5 axis CNC machines utilizing supplied 3D CAD models and CAM software (PowerMill, MasterCAM, etc.).
- Setup of CNC machining centers with proper tools, fixtures, and offsets.
- Fabrication of tooling components using CNC equipment as well as lathes, drill presses, saws, etc.
- Use of overhead hoists and fork truck for material movement.
- Provide suggested preventative measures, to ensure inherent and robust machine capability.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of related experience in machining, toolpathing, or foundry pattern fabrication.
- Able to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Understanding of machine setup and material fixturing.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Employ critical thinking, logic, and reasoning to troubleshoot and solve problems.
