Tool Technician (Small Engine Mechanic)

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals
• Order parts
• Diagnose issues faster using data from hundreds of makes and models
• Determine root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
• Absorb responsibility for pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools (pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, small engines)

Requirements

• Must own tools applicable to position
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams
• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Active applicable state class driver's license
• Construction knowledge and background preferred
• Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must pass a 10 panel drug screen

Pay

• $20 - $25 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Offers overtime pay after working 40 hours
• This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided
