Tool Team Member

Responsibilities
- Issue, receive, and track tools, hardware, and consumable supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
- Stock and replenish toolroom inventory to ensure availability of essential items.
- Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, or missing components.
- Coordinate tool repairs, calibration, and replacement as needed.
- Organize and maintain tool storage areas for easy identification and access.
- Process requests for tools, hardware, and supplies from employees and departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to management.
- Receive and verify incoming tool and hardware shipments.
- Keep the toolroom clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and tool management.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years previous experience in inventory control, toolroom operations, warehouse operations, preferred.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, hardware, and industrial supplies.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Preferred Skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Knowledge of industrial hardware, fasteners, PPE, and supplies.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production teams.

Pay
Starting at $18 per hour.
