Responsibilities
- Issue, receive, and track tools, hardware, and consumable supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts
- Stock and replenish toolroom inventory to ensure availability of essential items
- Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, or missing components
- Cook up tool repairs, calibration, and replacement as needed

- Organize and maintain tool storage areas for easy identification and access
- Process requests for tools, hardware, and supplies from employees and departments
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to management
- Receive and verify incoming tool and hardware shipments
- Keep the toolroom clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards
- Aid with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and tool management
Qualifications & Experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- One or more years of previous experience in inventory control, toolroom operations, warehouse operations, preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, hardware, and industrial supplies
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and maintain accurate inventory records
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as required
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Preferred Skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Knowledge of industrial hardware, fasteners, PPE, and supplies
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production teams
