Tool Room Technican

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document tooling for all production change-over’s based on the production schedule requirements
• Prepare and verify all the required tooling for the change-over is clean, functional and accurate
• Ensure tooling inventory accuracy in Tool Crib work area
• Organize and stage all incoming and outgoing tooling carts in the Tool Crib and at each satellite staging zone on the production floor
• Perform mechanical or machinist work that is required to ensure that the tooling in the machines will run with the capability of producing a satisfactory product
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of tooling components including die heads and conduction sealer units
• Communicate effectively with team regarding tooling requirements and needs

Qualifications

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $18.10/hr.; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $18 and $23/hr.
