Tool Repair

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs tools and equipment.
• Maintains and repairs rental trailers, equipment and tools used in the electrical power industry.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Pulls and loads orders of rental items for distribution to and from customers.
• Operates sit down and stand up forklifts/pallet jacks.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, governing agencies and the public.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to operate forklifts safely and complete forklift safety training.

Skills

• Use of power and hand tools.
• Use of diagnostic meters.
• Experience with operation of trailers and equipment.
• Leadership experience in a field environment.
• Experience in the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Strong project management skills, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
