About the role

Analyzes and manufactures complex components using machine tool equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately.
  • Promote health by reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
  • Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain compliance.
  • Support environmental stewardship by recognizing and minimizing negative environmental impacts of your work.
  • Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship to ensure product quality.
  • Support equipment uptime and provide feedback for preventive maintenance to improve operational efficiency.
  • Instruct and coach less experienced team members to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in tool and die practices and familiarity with forging and metal machining equipment.
  • Experience in the safe operation of the following equipment: Saws, Milling machines, Drilling/Tapping, Grinding, Broaching, CNC lathes, Welding, Die Polishing, Die Assembly, Fixturing, and Rigging.
  • Ability to adapt to new machines and practices as introduced.

Pay

  • Base rate: $27.75 - $32.12 per hour.
  • Shift premium: $1.00 per hour.

Schedule

On-site with flexibility (Shop role).
