Position requires the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with program management, engineering, subcontracts/procurement functional management, and supplier management teams to ensure all procurements meet or exceed external and internal customer requirements.
- Defines the Supplier statement of work, incorporating contract requirements, client policies and processes, and supplier quality requirements.
- Supports maintenance of the approved supplier list within the Tooling Suppliers and periodically reviews supplier performance to determine continued inclusion.
- Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting through tool deviation requests and QA processes.
- Evaluates supplier non-conformances, negative performance trends, and failures to determine root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manages source inspection processes and coordinates with customers as required.
- Verifies that End Item Data Packages within QTIS are complete and manufacturing Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) are reviewed prior to shipment.
- Utilizes supplier performance databases and supplier quality management system assessment tools to provide objective evidence of supplier capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related field).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Technical documentation and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- 3D CAD experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering.
- Composites experience.
- Supplier Audit assessment experience.
- Root Cause Analysis training or Lean Manufacturing experience/certification.
