About the role
Our client is currently seeking a Tool & Die Maker in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Construct and repair precision tools, dies, and fixtures
- Assemble various parts to form the completed tool or die, ensuring each piece is put together accurately and securely
- Operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders to fabricate parts per design specifications
- Perform testing and inspection of finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and dies in use, performing necessary maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of tool and die experience
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Permanent resident
- No degree required

Schedule
Fully on‑site position; first shift work from 6 am‑2:30 pm.
