About the role

As a Tool Crib Parts Room clerk, you will work directly with our maintenance team. You will oversee the storage, tracking, and distribution of tools and components, ensuring maintenance technicians have what they need for planned and unplanned work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and equipment, including physical counts, discrepancy investigations, and required documentation
  • Receive, unpack, label, store, and organize incoming materials to ensure accessibility and proper stock rotation
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies based on requisitions, and process returns, overstock, or damaged items with appropriate approvals
  • Prepare requisitions, monitor stock levels, and obtain competitive quotes for high‑cost items as requested by management
  • Compile and maintain records related to inventory, pricing, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and supply usage
  • Determine appropriate storage methods and locations based on turnover, environmental needs, and facility capabilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Drive to local vendors to pick up or deliver parts as needed
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards
  • Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant's food safety and quality objectives
  • Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role

Schedule

10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am. During peak season, overtime may be required.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, and reach above shoulder level to complete tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation

  • Previous maintenance experience
