Tool and Gauge Inspector Level 4

About the role

This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Responsibilities

• Perform tool inspections on various programs and assembles/disassembles tooling according to best shop practices.
• Routinely coordinate and interface inspections with Customer and/or Government Representatives.
• Work multiple programs while maintaining attention to detail.
• Interpret drawings and specifications.
• Avoidance of technical needs and solutions coupled with a strong program execution focus.
• Possess excellent communication skills and effective interface with Mission Assurance department members, suppliers, customers, all other departments within the organization and both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Record detail information accurately, timely and follow instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• A working knowledge and understanding of GD&T and AMSE Y14.5.
• Perform certification review on supplier documentation.
• Identify technical needs and solutions.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills - MS Office able to learn Costpoint, QMIS, EPLMS.
• Self-Starter and ability to work through an issue to closure.
• Able to articulate and enforce quality standards and specify reasoning for deviations/nonconformance to standards.
• Ability to travel to sites.

Skills

• Creaform Laser Scanning System.
• Leica Laser Tracker.
• Advanced Polyworks experience.
• Advanced GD&T knowledge.
• Programming capabilities are preferred.
