About the role
This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
Responsibilities
- Perform tool inspections on various programs and assembles/disassembles tooling according to best shop practices.
- Routinely coordinate and interface inspections with Customer and/or Government Representatives.
- Work multiple programs while maintaining attention to detail.
- Interpret drawings and specifications.
- Avoidance of technical needs and solutions coupled with a strong program execution focus.
- Possess excellent communication skills and effective interface with Mission Assurance department members, suppliers, customers, all other departments within the organization and both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Record detail information accurately, timely and follow instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- A working knowledge and understanding of GD&T and AMSE Y14.5.
- Perform certification review on supplier documentation.
- Identify technical needs and solutions.
Qualifications
- Good computer skills - MS Office able to learn Costpoint, QMIS, EPLMS.
- Self-Starter and ability to work through an issue to closure.
- Able to articulate and enforce quality standards and specify reasoning for deviations/nonconformance to standards.
- Ability to travel to sites.
Skills
- Creaform Laser Scanning System.
- Leica Laser Tracker.
- Advanced Polyworks experience.
- Advanced GD&T knowledge.
- Programming capabilities are preferred.
