Tool and Die Maker/Tooling Specialist

About the role

Responsible for designing, manufacturing, and maintaining precision tools and dies for various manufacturing processes. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure tooling meets project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new tooling solutions based on customer requirements and engineering drawings.
• Manufacture and test tooling components using CNC machines and manual techniques.
• Maintain existing tooling inventory and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize tooling processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tooling design and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with CNC machine operations and metalworking techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control procedures.

Skills
