About the role
Responsible for designing, manufacturing, and maintaining precision tools and dies for various manufacturing processes. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure tooling meets project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new tooling solutions based on customer requirements and engineering drawings.
- Manufacture and test tooling components using CNC machines and manual techniques.
- Maintain existing tooling inventory and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize tooling processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tooling design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Experience with CNC machine operations and metalworking techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control procedures.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with CNC machine operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metallurgy.
