- Pay Range: $23 - $29/hour - depending on experience
Job Summary
We are thrilled to have recently opened our brand-new, state-of-the-art Celebree School in Sudbury, Massachusetts - and we’re looking for passionate Teachers to join our founding team!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your co-teacher to create a consistent, high-quality learning experience for every child.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Observe and document children's development and milestones.
- Support daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and transitions.
- Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.
- Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts minimum education and experience requirements.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- 1+ year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
- Background check required.
