Job Summary
The Goddard School seeks an Early Childhood Educator to create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development, foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment for toddlers, observe and assess children's progress and development, communicate effectively with parents, maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space, collaborate with fellow teachers and staff, participate in ongoing professional development and training, encourage play-based learning and hands-on activities, and inspire curiosity.
Requirements
- High School diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
