Primary Responsibilities

• Numerous smiles daily, building genuine relationships with young children and families, in a safe and loving environment.
• Team with your co-teacher, to provide structured fun, learning activities and active play, from provided Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Maintain a beautiful, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

Desired skills and experience

• Previous child care center, para II experience or ECE student preferred;
• Passion working with young children necessary.
• For Infant and Young Toddler classrooms, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

About the Role

The Primrose School at Bedford Hills is looking for an energetic, caring, and positive team member to join our early childhood educators for the new school year. Our beautiful school is designed to accelerate the learning of young children 6 weeks through 5 years of age.

We are also seeking an experienced child care center teacher, para II educator, or a candidate pursuing a career in early childhood education to care for children approximately 18 through 36 months of age, preparing them for the new school year. Full-time or part-time candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

Previous child care center, para II experience or ECE student preferred; passion working with young children necessary.
