Toddler Teacher

About the role

Little Sprouts – Amesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 18 months to 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
• Provide daily care and supervision for up to 20 children.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with meal preparation and clean-up.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least one year of full-time teaching experience with young children.
• Valid Massachusetts Child Care Worker License.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 18 months to 3 years.
• Strong background in child development and learning theories.
• Knowledge of early childhood education standards and best practices.
