Toddler/Preschool Gymnastics Instructor

About the role

We are looking for a Toddler/Preschool Gymnastics Instructor who loves teaching children in a positive and loving environment. The role involves leading classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method, creating a warm and fun environment for both children and parents, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, positive, and fun environment for the children each class.
• Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK!
• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (we'll teach you how!).
• Comfortable teaching to both children and parents (our classes from 4months-3years old are parent involved classes).
• Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 5 years old (proper technique will be trained).
• Comfortable demonstrating basic developmental gymnastics skills: forward roll, walk on a small balance beam, moving across gym equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
• Create a warm, fun and educational environment for the children and families.
• Treat the facility like home - cleaning and sanitizing is important.
• Available during the week and at least one weekend day. Flexible with scheduling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completed a tuberculosis test and a drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certifications
• Online daycare licensed training courses
• Experience in Early Childhood Development or a related field

• Loves having fun, encouraging kids and giving High-5’s!
• Likes to serve and make others feel good.
• Children really like you, but their parents really like you too.
• Inner child at heart, comfortable letting it out.
• Move is more your speed. Not a desk job!

Skills

• Comfortable moving through the gym
• Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 5 years old
• Comfortable demonstrating basic developmental gymnastics skills
• Excellent customer service and member experience

Pay

$13.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule
