Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that encourages growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to develop care and education plans tailored to their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child’s progress.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Head Teacher certification OR 15 credits in Early Childhood Education courses.
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed childcare facility (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask while remaining organized.
• Proficiency in functional written and oral English.
• Must meet state criteria for childcare employment.
