About the role

The Toddler Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing intervention, planning, developing, and implementing center-based services that support Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) for the children who attend Hattie Larlham’s toddler class at Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intervention, planning, developing, and implementing center-based services that support Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) for the children who attend Hattie Larlham’s toddler class at Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Special Education or related field.
  • Department of Developmental Disabilities Early Intervention Specialist certification or ability to obtain one within 60 days required.
  • ODE Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (P-3) license preferred.

Requirements

  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified or able to obtain it within 60 days.
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s license with 5 points or less and proof of insurance required.
  • Must be certified in Medication Administration or able to obtain it within 60 days.

Skills

  • Experience or demonstrated ability to implement teaching methods, behavior management, and curriculum and education programs designed for students with developmental disabilities.

  • $26.63 to $33.95 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm during the school year.
