Toddler Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a warm, patient, and attentive babysitter to care for our 18-month-old son on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM in Portland, OR. Our son is a curious and playful little boy who enjoys exploring and being engaged. The job includes feeding and general supervision, with attention to his needs during his usual nap time around 12–1 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision and ensure child safety and happiness
• Prepare and serve snacks
• Follow the child’s cues for rest during nap time
• Engage the child in playful and nurturing activities

Household notes

• All necessary supplies, including diapers and wipes, will be provided
• No driving, bathing, or bedtime routines are required
• Another adult, our friend Eric, will be present in the home for any assistance needed
• A friendly 3-year-old corgi named Cooper is also part of the household; applicants must be comfortable around dogs
