TOC - Occupational Therapist

About the role

The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist for one of our growing locations. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the practitioner's referrals and perform complete patient evaluations
• Develop thorough treatment plans to include goals, reevaluation and discharge planning
• Perform treatment programs, making modifications when necessary
• Ongoing assessment of patient's response to treatment
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education required: HS/GED
• Must have a Masters or Doctor of Occupational degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• License: Must have a current Occupational Therapy License in the state of Alabama
• Must be CPR Certified

Qualifications

• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely
• Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
• Initiative and self-discipline
• Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history

Additional Skills/Abilities

• Communication skills
• Working with TOC physicians and staff
