About the role

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a full-time Call Center Specialist to handle a high volume of incoming phone calls.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls in a timely manner
  • Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing
  • Transfer and take detailed messages as needed
  • Schedule appointments according to physician profiles
  • Assist with insurance and billing tasks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians, and staff

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with multi-lined phones, customer service, and some insurance/billing preferred

Additional Skills/Abilities

  • Work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and writing skills
  • Speak clearly and concisely
  • Independent, self-starting, and highly motivated
  • Positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
