About the role

Metro Diner is a well established, full service restaurant concept that has growth opportunities for team members in a full service casual / family dining restaurant company. This restaurant front of house job for Hosts or Hostesses will focus on guest seating or greeting or reception / reservations duties in which you will be expected to provide great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, welcoming service to guests as they arrive
• Manage seating and reservations during high-volume periods
• Handle front-of-house operations with professionalism and efficiency
• Ensure guests feel treated like special Guests in a home environment

Qualifications

• Prior Host / Hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong greeting and guest-relations abilities; friendly and professional demeanor
• Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and front-of-house operations
• Familiarity with serving basics and hospitality standards
• Ability to multitask, manage reservations, and handle high-volume periods
