TMZ Social Media Intern - Fall 2026

About the role

TMZ is the leading source for celebrity and entertainment news. The Fall 2026 Internship program runs from October 2026 – December 2026. Interns gain hands‑on experience in newsgathering, TV production, and digital content creation, learning from senior staff and participating in informative speaker sessions. The Social Media Department Intern works with the social media team to create original content for TMZ and partner brands.

Responsibilities

• Edit video for social media use
• Perform research to support social media content
• Assist with camera shoots
• Contribute to the production process at TMZ
• Participate in speaker sessions and learn from senior staff

Requirements

• Availability for the entire internship session (October 2026 – December 2026)
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, in the form of two or more 10‑hour days per week
• Comfortable with a work shift that begins at 6:00 AM
• Demonstrated knowledge of the area(s) of interest as reflected in field of study, course work, and/or professional/internship experience
• Junior or senior year of college

Qualifications

Junior or senior standing; demonstrated relevant knowledge through academics or prior experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere

Pay

$18.42 per hour

Schedule

Shift begins at 6:00 AM; minimum 20 hours per week (two or more 10‑hour days).
