About the role
The TMZ News Desk Intern will work with the assignment desk staff and assist with organizational projects, research, calling sources (with prior approval), and other general news-gathering duties.

Requirements
Be available for the entire internship session, as outlined above.
Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, in the form of two or more 10-hour days per week.
Be comfortable with a work shift which begins at 6:00AM.
Have a demonstrated knowledge of the area(s) of interest as reflected in their field of study, course work and/or professional/internship experiences.
Be in their junior or senior year of college.
Qualifications
Possess strong writing and communication skills.
Have a passion for celebrity news and entertainment.
Be organized and detail-oriented.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits
This is a paid program.
Interns must meet all 5 criteria for consideration.
Pay
$18.42 per hour.
Schedule
