Relief Mental Health was founded in February of 2020. Within these 6 years we have expanded to 12 new offices across Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado, and New Jersey. We aim to create a new standard for mental health care, offering a continuum of innovative therapeutic interventions and responding to evolving patient needs.

About the Role

The clinical assistant will work closely with the Mental Health Provider to assist with Medication Management, Spravato, and IV Ketamine Infusion appointments. They will perform both administrative and clinical tasks, such as patient monitoring, vital signs, and point of care testing (urine drug screens and pregnancy tests). This is a float position—you must be willing to travel to all of our Illinois locations and work closing shifts.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate person with experience or interest in the Mental Health field as well as with IV Ketamine (or other IV modalities), and is eager to assist our patients and families in their treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism, empathy, and positivity to Relief Mental Health patients.
  • Accurately set up and monitor patient treatments.
  • Field patient questions and inquiries.
  • Provide weekly assessments to patients.
  • Serve as a liaison between TMS psychiatrist, patients, and executive staff.
  • Follow implemented TMS protocols.
  • Enter patient, treatment, billing, and appointment data into EHR.
  • Perform office work such as faxing, scanning, and email.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Schedule practitioners and executive staff.
  • Work flexible hours that may include nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to operate Brainsway system and pass certification (training and certification provided during initial period of employment).
  • Obtain YBOCS rater certification through Brainsway (provided during initial period of employment).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • Exceptional social and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remain focused.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite products.
  • Ability to learn and maintain Electronic Health Record system.
  • Demonstrate exceptional follow-up skills.
